Keep them in seperate rooms until you take her to the vets....or if you crate it would be best to do that......If they're fighting I don't think she is, she'd be playing the hussy....or it can be that he's trying and she's not ready.....
Do you have any Vanilla in the house, place a couple of drops on his nose, it hides the scent....or you can put a little Mentholatum on his chest......
I know you said you have no breed her this time....with her size I would strongly consider having her spayed.
