It is sad that some people wants a dog/pet but really don't want or understand the responsiblity that comes with it. I don't know if they realize it is a LIVING creature and not a toy to be play with when desired and ignored when it is not. I definitely believe that not everyone should own a pet.
This kind of hit close to home because I just adopted a very nice dog that was crated throughout her life and was very neglected. Then she was toss onto other people and got passed from home to home. Needless to say, I was kind of upset at the shape she was in when I got her. But she is doing fine now and getting along with my yorkies quite nicely. Okay, I need to stop before I get myself more work up. |
