when we got oscar we purposely got the biggest one because of the rest of the household (his best doggie friend is a 230lb neo) he is really a porker I call him my pot bellied hog. he's at 10lbs now but healthy lots of muscle under all that hair probably from tug of war with the neo. I dont' remember now ever having any worries over him eating.
