It will take time for her to learn that you will 'always' be back. I don't see anything wrong with holding her whenever possible now - she's so young and tiny. Oh, I just remembered that a couple people on here have bought that little stuffed animal that has a bean bag inside that you warm in the microwave. The puppies like to snuggle up with it. Might be worth a try |
Great suggestion. Usually the advice is to ignore any crying dog because they have to get used to the crate... otherwise they'll learn that crying will get them the attention their craving and they'll use that to their advantage. In your case though, if her blood sugar levels are dropping that's not the best way to go. Hypoglycemia in yorkie pups is serious business, I went through all that with my boy.
She's soooo young so she's going to need lots of special care for now. Don't worry too much about spoiling her, because as she adjusts to her new home you can ween her off the constant attention. For us, Raja was more work than a newborn! (serious hypoglycemia & pancreaitis)
