Offended them?! Oh please, if they had the nerve to be offended they sure deserved it! Please forgive my passionate answer, but supporting the puppy mill industry is just plain ignorant. If any one is even going to consider being a dog owner, they should know about that in the very least. Ahhh that bothers me! anyway...
I do feel like I know it all sometimes
I had a friend that takes not-so-good care of his basenji and I'm constantly correcting him on what he should and should not do... I don't feel bad though because I'm more concerned about the dog's well-being than whether or not my friend will be offended by what he *needs* to hear. Their last pet died way before her time because she has sooo many issues from being fed lots of table scraps, including obesity. If someone has that kind of history, they're going to get an earful from me!
