Default Question for Vets or Vet Techs

I took Summerlin to the vet for her last checkup on Monday, the 9th. Last night, the 12th, she started pooping blood. Nothing has changed - she is eating the same food, treats, and water - absolutely nothing different. This is my question - the vet supposedly did a fecal exam on Monday. If there was anything wrong with her, ie worms, etc, wouldn't it have shown up then? There is no way it can get bad enough for her to be pooping blood in three days, is there? I have taken a fecal sample by the vet's office this morning, and am waiting for them to call me with the results. Just as soon as I find out what they are, I will post them. I am just wondering if I should be concerned as to whether or not he really did a fecal on Monday. I have heard several bad things about this vet, but he is the only one in our town. I have already made arrangements for her to be spayed at a vet in a nearby town, I only took Summerlin back to this guy because she had been to him for all of her other shots. But now I'm worried.... what if he hasn't done everything he has said he has? Can anyone help or offer advice? Thanks in advance!!
