We went to the vet today and instead of LP, she thinks its Leggs Perthes. She took x-rays and is now sending them to a specialist to be sure. I should know early next week what the specialist says. If that's what it is, she will need surgery to remove the part of the bone that is affected.
It's ironic cause it's almost like the surgery I just had on my shoulder. Come to think of it, when my other one was throwing up, I got that, too....
Weird. So, not very good news. I can't imagine how much it is going to cost and with me just getting back to work and trying to catch up....
Today alone was $190.00. She took four x-rays and only charged me for one and she charged me a little less for the exam. ($50.00 instead of $60.00
)
She had all the other vets look at the x-rays and at Brea. Everyone said Brea was such a sweetheart.
I love this little girl so much....
By the way, she now weighs in at 3.7 lbs!
