3 Months, Oh my. I do not think I could have taken that. Several times, I got the cutters out and was ready to take it off.

A few years ago I broke my ankle, both sides actually. Had a subsequent surgery and one side is pinned while the other has an 8" plate and 6 screws.
I spent 3 LONG months in a cast!
