I had never had a Yorkie till I got Gordon. I stressed out because he would skip meals and you have to make him eat at times. My son and his wife own Gordon's sister.......she eats everything in sight. Gordon's vet told me , he is gaining weight and is health. Gordon was the runt of the litter......and she is twice as big as him.
I agree, they eat when they want to, and need to.
