Shortie is very smart. He doesn't realize he is a dog. God forbid his feet touch the floor. He demands to be carried when he is not on the couch or in the bed. He hates for people me or vistors to leave the house. When we do leave he spins in circles barking. If you dare to open a car door around him he jumps in and will not get out until he goes for a ride. My Rat terrier is very interested in birds and chasing anything that moves. Shortie my yorkie could honestly care less. He only wants to be with his owners and becomes very depressed if we leave him. Rudy our rat has a very short attention span an forgets us quickly when we go out of town, My Shortie will mourn hisself to death!
