 Breeder May have been telling the truth
I have told folks that they could not come because puppies have just gone to the vet. Have I lied NOPE. Did you know that when your babies stop nursing and start eating food they loose the immunity from disease that mom's milk provides. If I have had a busy week I may go to the vet on Sat. and be the LAST appt. so that my kids are not exposed to other animals that are sick or folks who want to touch them. MY VET STATES NO CONTACT WITH OUTSIDE FOLKS UNTIL 48 HOURS AFTER THEY HAVE HAD THEIR SHOT.
This gives the antibodies time to start working.
I breed my males to outside gals. My clients are going to sale these pupppies without dad on site. I give the client my card, a pedigree of dad and his picture. I encourage to tell their clients to call me or come and take a look at dad. Did these folks lie. Nope they were telling the truth.
