According to the growth chart (which is a guestimate guide) located at:

She was on track at first for about 5.5 pounds. But the seven week weight threw that for a spin. Course it could have been an anomaly--maybe she just ate? needed to use the puppy pad? But as the mom of a "teapot", I can say that I love her no matter her weight, and only on this forum am I concious of the fact that she is considered "large". She is huge in spirit, but such a wonderful baby!
