Sometimes the older family members take a while to warm up to a new member. The only thing I can suggest is to never let Kitty by Alexis again unsupervised until this stage has passed. In my house, it does seem that the older members give the newest member the cold shoulder. No attacking though. Hopefully Kitty will adjust when it realizes that this new pup is here to stay so they might as well make the best of it. Cat bites and scratches are horrible as their teeth are real curved and thus rip the skin.
