I use MinkSheen on Gordon. The first time I used it on him I loved what it done to his coat. After his bath , he was shiny and his coat was so soft and no tangles. I loved the smell, it wasn't over powering and I only got a slight scent when I picked him up.
The one thing I have learned about MinkSheen is to shake the bottle GOOD.
Re-reading this thread I thought I'd clarify one thing, I think a lot of my post kind of made it sound like it works on ALL silk coats and doesn't work on ANY modified or cotton coats at all and I didn't mean it to sound that way. I was trying to say that it seems the people who get the best results are those who's dogs have true silk coats. I've seen it work great on modified silk coats as welland a modified silk coat looks exactly like a silk coat but reacts differently to certain kinds of products. However, I am positive there are plenty of people out there who have dogs with true silk coats where MinkSheen has not worked for them. I know I've tried a lot of products for both myself and my dogs that others swear by and I totally hate so just because you have a cotton coat or a modified silk coat I wouldn't say not to try MinkSheen because it might work awesome for you and just because your dog has a true silk coat doesn't neccasarily mean it will work great for them.
Each dog is different and you have to find what works best for you
