I just have to vent on this issue of over-vaccinating these small yorkies. I just found out about a week ago that my dog had a reaction to the rabies shot that was given 5 months ago! At the source of the place where they vaccinated my dog, she became bald!!!
She lost all of the hair in that spot, which was close to her shoulder ! I don't remember signing a waiver for this reaction. Why don't the vets tell you this prior to getting the shot? When I said I wasn't going to get another shot the vet said she wouldn't be able to get a waiver for this non life threatening
side effect! I will have her titered next time! If you are on the fence about the vaccine, you should know about this side effect!!!
