If she isn't allowed to eat, then I would think she should be on an I.V. with medication since she has been so sick. What the vet wants to accomplish is to rest her pancreas which is also stimulated by the smell of food cooking. If you simmered parsley in water, removed the parsley and gave it in some doses to keep her hydrated. Every vomit or poopy sessions has caused her to lose electrolytes rapidly.
