Thank you, I will get the ice cream, she may eat that more readily than the baby food chicken.

I do have the NutriCal but she seems to do better with the karo syrup. I keep dry puppy food down all the time but I also feed her baby food chicken. That is all protein. Sylvia
Yorkies with liver shunts/mvd do not necessarily show ANY symptoms...So don't think that she can't have a liver shunt simply because she doesn't exhibit that particular behavior. We wanted to have Miko bile acid tested because we had read so much about yorkies having liver shunts, so we made an appt. The weekend before the appt. Miko had a seizure out of the blue had to be taken in to the ER vet and that's how we found out he had a liver shunt...Not because he was exhibiting certain behaviors prior to this.
