Keep at it! I feel for ya, Tetley hates being brushed out too. I have to distract him with cheerios to get the job done, and I have to do it on his 'grooming table' (just a big piece of plywood with non-skid matting glued to it) for him to know I mean business. If I try to brush him when he's on the bed or sofa, he just tries to get away. If he's in his grooming spot, he knows there's nowhere to go and submits. Good luck!
