That's why I couldn't understand you all saying that she didn't have a good vet - as here, all vets are good and only have the best interests of animals welfare at ALL TIMES.....if that doesn't happen there - I am surprised they would be allowed to practice ???

Maybe she "thought" her Vet was advising to breed these dogs, but it wasn't really what he was meaning - or is it that vets can be motivated by money in other places, I don't know ???
It's sad to say that there are vet's here that are on the greedy side when it comes to money....and yes there are those that would advise on breeding an animal, but omitting all the preliminary work that has to be done.
Yes, it could be that she misinterpreted his meaning. What I am question is his knowledge on her initial visit, when checking the lil female's breasts, a knowledgable vet would very well know on initial examination the changes in a female's breasts are brought on either by her being in Season or with puppies....either way a vet would err on the side of caution and not perform an x-ray...
