My bitch is day 43 pregnant for the very first time by my male. I have three Yorkies, the other is a neutered female.
If you want to ask me anything, I will help you all I can, but there a lot of very experienced people on here, (much moreso than myself) and some of them will I'm sure be happy to help without comdemnation.
Everyone has to learn somewhere - and some forget that they were once inexperienced too. Not everyone has the fore-sight to know that reading up on things is a wiser thing to do, but one thing is for sure, we are all human, and humans make mistakes and shouldn't be condemned for it, but helped to know better next time.
All that should matter is the welfare of the dam and sire and the puppies.
You have done the right thing asking here for the information you are going to need - good for you.....

Read up as much as you can, and I hope all goes well. It is good you have such a fantastic vet - though I would ask him if the x-rays were ok.
