I work out (at the gym though) and push ups are great for arms, shoulders, chest and back... not the regular kind only but also try with elbows and above close to yor sides - this one is a tougher one, or putting palms flat with thumbs out, pointing fingers and thumbs touching forming a little triangle. but most people hate push ups...
