I didn't say to put blowdryier heat on the hair untill the strand of hair is super hot!!!
I mean to wrap strand of hair on to curling iron and hold it till the hair gets hot. And if she has a lot of hair that is wavy or curly, than vent brush will just make it frizzy!!

MY friend has super curly hair. When she wants me to curl her hair with a curling iron, I first use a round brush to straighten her hair, then the curling iron. I always find that a vent brush makes her hair POOFY and frizzy but I guess it depends on each individual.
