I think we all want you to be happy and not forced into something. I know that things must be a little overwhelming at your house right now. I was just thinking about your Nephew and his Child. I hope that you don't let that deter you from getting Louie back (if that's what you really want). B/c that Child is going to grow up, hang out with friends, go off to College and move out. And Louie will be left with your Nephew and his Wife. If that were me, I just couldn't be able to bare that. Louie belongs with You - If that's what you really want! Don't let them have him just for the childs sake.
