Poor baby. I am in tears looking at his sad little face. It always breaks my heart to hear that a puppy has gotten aggresive for whatever reason because it usually means that people give up on them and often they end up being put down.

Here's just alittle something I noticed with my own dogs.

When I got my Maltese she was tiny and my kids were young. I couldn't trust them around her and kept them away from her. I took care of all her needs and didn't let anyone else. I noticed as she grew that she definately followed my lead and didn't want anything to do with the rest of the family nor did she want any of them to have anything to do with me. She never snapped at them but would growl and jump on me if the kids came near. She didn't like them and she didn't want me to like them either! I know I created this myself but then didn't know what to do to undo my mistake in her raising. She finally went to live with my grandmother after her baby died. My grandmother desperately needed some company and Sadie desperately needed to be the one and only. Everyone was happy in the end but it is a mistake I will not make again.

When I got Teddy I did not forget and this time my kids were older so easier to trust with him. I just would watch and make sure they were always handling him correctly. I take care of his major care like bathing and feeding and he is definately my boy but he spends plenty of time with the kids and everyone takes part in his care. His personality couldn't be more different than Sadie's. He loves everyone (I think because everyone has loved him).

I really don't have any idea if it has that much to do with the way I raised them or not, it was just my take on why Sadie was the way she was and the difference in how they were raised seems to show through.

I'm not at all saying that this is the case with your little one, I just thought his personality sounded so much like my Sadie's so thought I would share.

I really pray he can find a home where he can one mommy to love and protect.
