I think the problem with the greenies is that dogs who gulp their food swallow chunks of it. i have tried cutting off bite size pieces small enought to go down easily but big enough to chew so as to clean the teeth. there is even the sm. bits version that i have tried also. but in my opinion those are too small for them to actually chew and get any benefit from them. that is when i started cutting my own size for them. Buckeye gets one size and Ahia get another. (customized for them) they love them and i use them as treats. they don't get a lot of greenies as they are expensive.
