Yes, I would get a scale to weigh your food. It really helps to learn portion sizes to be able to count points accurately! I got a cheap postal scale from Office Depot - about $15 and it really helped me to learn portion sizes. Sometimes portions on packages are measured in grams. A postal scale can be set to ounces or grams and this will really be helpful.

I lost 35 pounds on WW and I basically stay on it most of the time - meaning I usually always "count points" and when I don't is when my weight begins to creep up!
