Hi, I recommend the first time you give her a bath to do it in a bath tub if you can, put on a bathing suit and get in first then put her in. As her leader you will be comforting her by showing her that it is safe because you are in there aswell. Often times dog need the reassurance of their leader to show them that the water is safe and less safe. Dont make a big deal out of it, If you make a huge deal out of it, then she will relate baths a big deal from that day forward.

The other day my dad's yorkie fell down some steps for the first time, when I saw him I tried my best not to freak out and I just looked at him and asked "are you okay?" and he looked at me, got up and trotted off. A couple of months ago my mothers yorkie slipped down the steps for the first time aswell, my mother was there and freaked out, I came in and saw Gunter freaking out aswell. My mothers yorkie refuses to go down the steps anymore, and my fathers yorkie is not bothered if he slips once or twice he still goes down.
