Okay, are you ready? Are you ready for all the responsibility that you have placed on yourself and your future baby's daddy? Have you all had each one tested for Liver Shunts, STD's, and how are their petellas and other organs (heart, eyes, teeth, etc..) ? Because these future babies will carry the genes that each parent has. I know you would not want a pup to struggle and then not make it, or have to have an expensive operation just to live a good life. I know... this all sounds weird. But facts are facts. Both you and the owner of the bitch are 100% responsible for bringing into this world this litter you will produce. Okay! (It just sounded like from your post both of you do not have a clue, but plan to breed your two yorkies together)!

If you have done all the above testing and these two are great specimans of the yorkie standard and you know since you have had others checked them out (judges, yorkie breeders/exhibitors, you know... people that know the standard). And do you know the sire's and dam's pedigrees very well and will make great matches?

If you have no clue - don't do it!!

If you have had everything checked out as a reputable breeder would have done...Well, do you have a good contract??? Always have everything in writing.

You may have some problems breeding anyways - since it is their first time each.
