Could anyone tell me the difference between akc and ckc registrations? I also checked out a site today called Ceritfied Pure Puppy Database registration....because i was checking into registering the whole litter my female had. I have looked into about everything there is to register, and honestly, i don't have a clue to which one to use, and why there is such a difference made? Does a dog have to be registered? I mean, does it make it any less of a dog if it's not? I am not a breeder by any means, and i would like to have some input on it because i want to know the differences and the main aspects of registration. My dogs aren't for show, they are family pets....so any advice on this matter would be appreciated so i can get a better understanding.
