The tell tale sing for us is we will always find what looks like yellowish grains of rice in their bedding. These are tapeworm segments that shed off of the worms. You will also find them hanging around their rear ends.
I believe with other worms, they will start to lose weight even though they are eating normally. |
Oh yes!!! We didn't realize that Chewie had worms when we first brought him home until he slept with us on his second night home. We woke up to a bunch of little rice looking grains in our bed.
It was disgusting and just gave me the chills all over thinking that I had slept with them.
