I feel the same way you do that they should do it demographically. Obviously the some ladies don't sew and they could care less if people can find fabrics at reasonable prices to make quality items for pets and children as well as other things such as quilting etc. When they take the fabric out of our walmart the only place i will be able to purchase is online. I choose to live in a rural area to be away from the fast past of the city where i grew up!! I hated all the gang violence and crime so i chose to raise my child in the rural area of north carolina. I am sorry i offended you and that you see the fabric a waste of space but everyone doesn't feel the way you do and I GUESS IT WOULD SERVE ME TO KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT ON THESE FORUMS BECUASE EVERYTIME I MAKE A STATEMENT I GET A RUDE REPLY.
I know the CEO is from Target and i don't know how new he is but it has been in the local papers so if i am mistaken then it is the local news medias problem not mine. Anyway i stiill think he is making a huge mistake because the fabric departments make a huge amount of money in our area!! They make as much as the electronic section and i sewing is coming back. The children in high school now are starting to sew again!
Again sorry to have offended you but Sam had a vision and it is being destroyed by greed.
