Ok oh my goodness Harley broke my heart. I was in the vet room while they were putting him under and when he smelled the alcohol swab he panicked! I mean full out writhing, screaming and snapping. It was heart wrenching to see and hear. The whole building was crowding around the door to see what was going on! When they finally got the needle into him he was ok. But the vet said he has 'anticipation' for the needle that makes him freak out like that. When they put the tube down his throat he started coughing from it and that was too much so I walked out. I'm just waiting now and I already have my baby wrap on for him to wake up in. Poor little guy..
