I would be asking any of those coworkers if they would be a witness during your small claims case. I still think you have a VERY STRONG CASE. This coworker will be forced to come up with a good story on why you would let your high priced male Yorkie be studded out with nothing in return. The fact that she has sent you photos and updates is only more proof. The Judge will be able to see right through this one. I still say "go for it". She is trying to scam you and thinking that there is nothing you will be able to do. The fact that she offered $700 now for stud fees - have her put that in writing. That she now wants to back out of the female pup deal and instead offer a $700 stud fee. That should hang her right there. Of course don't sign it. Once you have it in your hands tell her that your friend's husband is a lawyer and you are going to ask him about it.
