I've been on Yorkietalk since I got Teddy about 2yrs ago. Anyhow in Nov. a coworker approached me about breeding her yorkie with mine. I agreed to breed Teddy, as long as I got a girl puppy from the litter. I bet you already know were this is going huh? Well, she agreed and two puppies were born at the end of Jan. A boy and a girl, she even asked me what to name the dog. Well, this weekend is 8th week, since the puppies were born. Today I get a call from the owner of the female dog telling me that the girl dog is not gaining as much weight and that she took her to the vet, and that there was nothing physically wrong with the dog,only that she was growin a lot slower than her brother. She claimed that the vet suggested that girl puppy needed more attention, and that because I work, it wouldn't be a good environment for the puppy? She then offered the male puppy, and when I told her I wasn't interested in the male puppy, she even suggested paying a stud fee for Teddy. She claims the male is bigger and does not need the attention the female puppy needs. I feel that these are all excuses not to give me the dog.
What do yall think??

If she'll lie to you about this, Is this the kind of co-worker others want to work with. Distrusting. I wouldn't be keeping my mouth shut on this one at work. You had an agreement.. YOU should be getting the female.
