Thanks everyone for replying, I think all your doggie pics are lovely
I will have to think seriously I know as "Yorkieusa" has said it would be very stressful to the yorkie being passed from pillar to post.
I do have spare time as I don't work and although my hubbie and girls never wanted a small dog I know that they would be affectionate to it and my two springers are very maternal to other small dogs they've been around.
One thing I would like to find out more about is the types of illnesses Yorkie's might develope and at what age, we already have very good dog insurance cover with our springers and adding another dog would probably not be much more.
I would take a Yorkie with me when possible when I go out but if I need to go out and nobody was at home to look after it would it be ok in one room or what is the best way to organise it's place for sleeping etc.
Any more advice would be great
