The AZO is supposed to help numb or something so it doesn't hurt. I don't know the rest about treating it yourself. I did the cranberry juice and all that but it seemed to get worse. I usually try and hold off on going to the doc too because I don't have insurance but sometimes you just got to suck it up and go. I felt silly suffering for days with it trying to hold off going to the doc when after one day of the antibiotics I was feeling sooo much better.
