Hi everyone. My Yorkie/Maltese mix has been making this funny sound for the past week or two. It sounds like a backwards sneeze if that makes any sense. I cannot tell if it is a sneeze or a cough or a snort as her face does not change when she does it. It is usually when we are outside or after she has run around a lot. I have taken her to the vet twice since she has had it. And OF COURSE she refuses to make the noise in front of the vet. The vet checked her and said it is not kennel cough or pnuemonia and not to worry. But it still makes me wonder what it could be. The vet told me she thinks she has allergies. I was just wondering if anyone elses pup makes these noises? THANKS!
