We have a lab that is almost 8 years old. We rescued him from the pound at about a year old. Lab's are puppy-brained for about 2 years. Lots of energy and excitable. It will probably take a little while to train Layla. (Great name) But they are very devoted dogs and just big goofballs! My sister's black lab just died at 13 years old. She was a puppy for about 10 years! |
