Puggles were the other kind of dog my husband and I were looking at. They are so dang cute!!
They are a mix of a pug and a beagle. They are also called "mini mastiffs". When I was looking at dogs I did a search and found a great breeder in Michigan for puggles. I don't know where you are located but you should look and see if they have any local breeders in your area. Puggles are supposedly great pets, and I am sure your mom would be very happy with this breed.
