Some Vets will say it's fine while others are set against it. I tried a raw chicken leg on a Min-Pin foster once and he swallowed the entire thing and I nearly had a heart attack. I called the Vet. and he said not to feed raw, that they can and do get salmonella poisioning. Since then I had a friend who's dog died of salmonella poisioning and she was feeding raw chicken. I just don't want to take those chances. My grandmother gave her Boston real food (cooked) and the dog died at 23 years old. I fed all my dogs real food for 50 years. I've never yet had any of the ones I raised have any health problems or allergies.
