Do some intense research on the breed, make sure both yorkies are worth breeding, free of genetic defects (that means possible carriers) and fit the
standard. Your girl should be no younger than 18 months or her 2nd Season. Make sure both are free of STDs before the breeding (Vet determines by performing a smear on both). Read everything you can on breeding, whelping and raising a good healthy litter.
