I respect your opinion, but I couldn't disagree with you more. My dogs hate wearing booties. Eddie and I have a ritual. When he sees me grab Jack and put on Jack's booties, Eddie hides under the bed. He doesn't come out until I lure him with a treat.

But it's cold here. And it's snowy. And my dogs need exercise. If I let them out without booties, they refuse to go on walks. They lift their paws up and look miserable. And there's also salt on the roads.

However, if I make them wear booties, they love walks. They don't lift up their paws. We walk for 30, 45 minutes, and they love it. It took me two solid weeks to get them to tolerate them, but they do tolerate them. And they are happy and healthier because I make them wear them.
