I am thinking a lot of breeders don't really pay attention to these little things that can be a really big problem later. A 12 week old puppy should be potty trained (well darn close) IMO but that doesn't seem to be the case with yorkies and i am seriously thinking it's because of this. Even though there is a difference between female and males i really do think it depends on what age you get them as well. Sorry i don't mean to be controversal here just curious. I dont know becauseI got Chachi and Jewels from the same breeder Only Jewels was a couple weeks older. I think with mine its their personalities. Chachi really doesnt like to be scolded and he thrives on praise and thats why I think training him has been easier. Jewels is the baby and she is very spoiled. She doesnt care if she gets scolded and has been a nightmare to potty train. And she just doesnt pick up on doing tricks. She is good though that you can walk off leash and she stays with you but Chachi does that too
