More and more of today's dogs do have problems with coughing. The result of a trachea that is not normal. I feel that as breeders were are at fault because we have bred some of our lines too tight with inbreeding. Had beautiful gal collapsed trachea with coughing problems- had her spayed and placed as a pet.
