I love that. In Maine (winter of 98) the town of Bethel built the world's biggest snowman. It had tractor tires for buttons and entire fir trees for arms. It took months to melt. If I can find a photo, I'll post it. My husband (then boyfriend) and I drove 2 hours just to see it. They used cranes, etc...it was crazy.
Somehow, it seems more of a challenge to build one in your own yard like that crazy alaskan. I am trying to figure out how he did it. He just must have made a big pile of snow and carved it out. I can't imagine that he lifted the pieces into place. |
