My dog used to ride a lot, everyday at the beginning to and from work with me but never got used to travelling. I tried a zipped mesh carrier buckled on passenger seat or an open console-type seat. He hates both equally but at least in the carrier doesn't try to get out like from that open console. He's not even interested in biting anything. I still drive him around and he at least moved from screaming (oh, I know those
) to whining a little from time to time. He usually settles down once a little tired. And I learned not to pay attention too much...
