hi everyone, i have been feeding my yorkie merrick canned and royal canin dry. everything is great with these foods and his poop is firm and not large, but sometimes it is a little mushy. i read about merrick foods not being the same all the time and have come across this myself.
so after this recall on all these foods and the food killing our babies, i have decided to make my own food, which i did tonight !
after the help from some of these wonderful yorkie lovers and very knowledgeable people on this website , i went out today to buy the ingredients for my sammy.
i will start tomorrow morning by adding a little to his royal canin kibble and wean him off of this stuff within a couple of weeks. at least now i know what he is eating. i also bought the missing link which i will add to his food everyday. a little at a time.
i am so happy that i am starting this and i want to thank everyone who has responded to my questions.
this website is a world full of knowledge and very thoughtful people on here.
