After wanting a yorkie forever, I have finally decided the time is right to start looking for one of these adorable babies. I would like a female but beyond that, I don't know what questions I should be asking of a breeder. I know I would never purchase from a pet shop and I would prefer to be able to actually see the pups as well as parents but what other things should I be aware of that might not be so obvious to me, having never owned a yorkie?
Also, I would love to find a breeder here if at all possible. I am located in
Albany, NY.
Any advise is much appreciated.
