I only breed 1 or 2 litters a year, and only when I'm looking for that next Champion to add to my breeding program. So, I'm on a small scale operation too. However, since I don't have a computer brain to keep all those pedigrees straight....this helps me, when I'm planning that next breeding.
It amazes me when the ole masters of the yorkie world spout off those dogs in certain pedigrees......Some of these people are now in their Seventies and Eighties.....around way before the computer became popular.......My mentor who will be 79 this year can sit their and tell me about every dog that she has had in her kennel, how they showed, what their faults and quirks were, what their best qualities were....and she does this with other Kennels/Pedigrees too.....Wow! I'd love to do a book on her life experiences in the dog world.
