As long as you know there is cost involved.. then keep looking. If you have family that would help you pay for some of it.. then great. My gran helps me out when she can. But beware these dogs are expensive. You should save up for a little while.. while looking your lil one. But good luck in your search!

Great advice

You should really consider saving a little more. You should also have some money saved up for emergencies. I too am a college student and work part-time to help with my furkid's expenses.

My boy got sick and had to take him to the vet yesterday. It was $300 for visit, meds and x-rays. Not to mention, the follow-up appointment that is coming up and the fact that it wasn't a major health problem (than God).

Also, this little breed does require plenty of your time (not to say you won't provide it). They are attention-seekers and just love to be with their 'parents'.

I waited many years until it was the right time in my life to get one.

Good luck,

Jess
